To install VLC using winget, you will first need to ensure that you have winget installed on your system. You can check if winget is installed by opening a command prompt or terminal window and running the following command:

winget --version

If winget is installed, this command will print the version number of the winget tool. If winget is not installed, you will need to follow the instructions on the winget website to install it on your system.


Once you have winget installed, you can use the following command to install VLC:

winget install VideoLAN.VLCCode language: CSS (css)

This command will download and install the latest version of VLC from the Microsoft Store. Once the installation is complete, you can open VLC from the Start menu or by running the following command:

vlc
