How to install Blender on Ubuntu

Blender is a free open source 3D software that can be used to create Animated films, visual effect, art, 3D sculptures, games, and interactive. Blender offers features like 3D modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, raster graphics editing, rigging and skinning, fluid and smoke simulation, particle simulation, soft body simulation, sculpting, animating, match moving, camera tracking, rendering, video editing and compositing. Alongside the modeling features, it also has an integrated game engine.

Installing

Adding thomas-shiex/blender ppa.

“` sudo add-apt-repository ppa:thomas-schiex/blender “`
Updating local package repository database
“` sudo apt-get update “`
Installing Blender.
“` sudo apt-get install blender “`
