I discovered the one skill that will help you get what you want, it will take you to the next level, if you control it and don’t let it control you.

I learned this one skill and it has changed the way I do things, this one skill is repetition, you master this and it will make you achieve anything you want.

Repetition is the mother of learning, the father of action, which makes it the architect of accomplishment.”

Repetition is part of our daily lives, and we are not even aware of it. A good example of this would be waking up at the same time every day, a bad example of this would be looking into your phone, over and over, every time there is a notification or when the phone beeps.

Reduplication of the right activity or process will get you, the right results.

You maybe thinking you know this already. I am here to tell you that most of the activity you involve in is done subconscious, in simple words you are so used to doing these activities, you no longer are trying to improve, you are just repeating what you already know.

What if you did it intentionally, you gave your complete attention to the subject and executed the process with the scope of improvement and presence of mind.

A good example of using this one skill for me was driving, after I learned to drive, I drove but the quality of my driving did not improve, because of how accustomed I was with driving an automatic.

I decided that every time I drive next time, I would remind my self to try improving, to stop more gradually at the stop light, and to progressively start at a go light, going this over and over with the intention to improve brought massive change in my driving style.

Think of a skill you want to learn, for me it is learning to draw. I practice drawing after I am back from school, I sit next to my desk, set up my Mac and look up for an image reference to draw, then I draw it on the picture plane, but here is a catch to this, As I said earlier, I am back from school, which makes me low on energy, so I end up choosing something easy to draw, then I start listing to a YouTube video or podcast, this becomes my daily routine.

It has now turned into recurring habit, now I am with fifty percent concentration trying to draw a subject easy to project on the canvas, a month has passed, and I am still improving at a good pace.

You won’t get this immediately, I am not trying to discourage you, what you need to do is try this every time you catch yourself just do things and remind yourself that you need to be present and do it as if it were the one thing.

This comes over practice and will soon turn into a habit, a good one a great one, once you master it, you are already better 75% of the average people. The fact that you read or listened to this make you a high achiever and puts you out of the average people group.

It’s time to take action and take action now.

What I want you to take from this is, do everything you can well, because how you do something is how you do everything.
