**Dropbox** is a [file hosting service](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_hosting_service “File hosting service”) operated by Dropbox, Inc., that offers [cloud storage](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_storage “Cloud storage”), [file synchronization](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_synchronization “File synchronization”), and [client](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Client_(computing) “Client (computing)”) software. Dropbox allows users to create a special folder on each of their computers, which Dropbox then synchronizes so that it appears to be the same folder (with the same contents) regardless of which computer is used to view it. Files placed in this folder also are accessible through a website and mobile phone applications. Recently Dropbox, Inc made a Dropbox client for Windows 8 and Windows RT.

The client offers a clean Morden UI based interface, users can upload or view files or images and also share using charms bar.
